TSA Championship Meet

At the end of the swim season Kitts Creek swimmers participate in the championship meet held at Triangle Aquatic Center also known as TAC. Address is Triangle Aquatic Center 275 Convention Drive Cary. Participation is optional, but the experience is great for the swimmers. Declare your attendance by 6 pm on July 17

TSA championship meet will take place on 23 July at the Triangle Aquatic center in Cary. 10 & under will start at 7:30. 11 & up will start at 12:30p. 

— Declare your attendance 

This event is a paid event. In order to sign up your swimmer for this event you will

1. Declare your attendance in swimtopia by going to meets. Pay attention to the age group when signing up. You have to select the individual strokes you want your swimmer to sign up in and indicate your participation in relays.  Here is a screenshot as an example

— Cost

Pay the fees for the events you have signed up for. Please note that the Swimmers must be able to swim the strokes they are signed up for legally. Payment will be taken using a card during practices. Here is the cost break down.

Individual Fees: $5.00 per individual event ( Freestyle, Back, breast, fly). Relay Fee: $10.00 per relay event ($2.50 per Swimmer) .Swimmer Fee: $7.50 per swimmer .

For ex: If you are signed up for

3 Strokes and 2 Relays the cost is $27.50.

1 Strokes and 1 Relay $15

— Facility (TAC) Rules.

   NO outside food, drinks or coolers are allowed inside the facility. NO glass containers are allowed inside the facility. NO smoking is allowed inside the facility. NO chairs are allowed on the spectator level. Swimmers may have a chair on deck.

— Concessions

 Food and refreshments will be available at the concession stand in the main lobby. Additional vendors may be located in the front parking lot.

— Schedule and Arrival Time

10 and under Warm-Up: 7:30 – 8:15 a.m. 10 and under Start Time: 8:30 a.m. 

Swimmers for the morning session must meet their coaches or Team Representative in a designated Team area in the parking lot at 6:45 am.

11 and older Warm-Up: Not Before 12:30 p.m. (to be announced) 11 and older Start Time: Not before 1:30 p.m. (to be announced)

— Volunteer
