TSA Session 1 Participants,

Apologies for multiple emails this evening, but the alert sent earlier did not allow you to click directly to the signup link, so I wanted to follow up.

There are still many volunteer positions that need to be filled for Session 1 of the TSA meet. I’ve listed the open positions and included a summary of the roles in case you were hesitant to sign up because you weren’t sure if you were equipped to fulfill the responsibilities.

Clerk of Course: Line up swimmers for individual events (unlike at our standard season meet, changes and swaps will not be made and swimmers will have bands to help identify them for lane assignment. It is not as complicated as you’ve seen with our regular season meets)

Runners: Deliver any DQ Slips from the officials (Stroke and Turn Judge) to the scoring/administration table.

Timers: Manually record swimmers’ times in each lane, ensuring accurate and fair results in case electronic timing fails.

Hospitality: Keeps coaches, officials, and meet staff fed, hydrated, and comfortable throughout the event.
